Criminal Records Bureau

Since 2002 Bromley Advocacy Project has acted as a Registered Umbrella Body for organisations, in and around the London Borough of Bromley, who require “police checks” to be undertaken on prospective employees and volunteers.

If you are a registered charity that exists to help and support vulnerable sections of the community please contact our Operations Manager, Michael Fletcher, to see if we can help. He can be reached on 020 8313 0139 or by email: michaeladvocacy@btconnect.com

Once agreement is reached that this service can be made available to your organisation you will be provided with:

  • An extensive information pack, including specimen Policies required by the Criminal Records Bureau

  • Where necessary, individual tuition is provided in respect of the completion of the Disclosure application forms

  • A dedicated helpline for ongoing assistance

More information regarding Disclosures can be obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau on their website at www.crb.gov.uk
